A nice pot, heavy in weight and packaged in a nice box. After opening a nice subtle, fresh scent. Citrus is the impression that lingers the most to me. After soaping the brush, it is quiet with some water, otherwise it quickly becomes too thin foam. The skin is well protected, sliding properties in order and after rinsing remains a fine fresh feeling. Really a summer soap for me.
Last week I bought the complete set from Antiga Barbearia de Bairro. And therefore also the shaving soap. Now I had 'mistaken' in reading: I thought it was cream. And shaving soap 'works' something other than shaving cream. I had prepared the shaving brush (moist and warm), I only had to get it over the shaving soap a few times to have enough for a shave. I immediately noticed that a subtle scent came from it. The soap can easily be 'spread' and is rich foamy: not lavish ... just good! Normally I also use a pre -shave, but this time (and turning) not. The ingredients are so caring that a pre -shave is not necessary. The razor (Safety Razor) glides through it easily. Afterwards the skin immediately feels smooth. The scent is fresh: a wonderful start to the day and definitely recommended!
