History Recipe for Men

Recipe for Men was founded in 2002 by Jesper Rönnbäck. It produces and develops skin care products for men. According to Jesper Rönnbäck, skin care products should provide immediate results and visible effects. All products are tested and produced in Sweden in our own production facilities. The Scandinavian climate is harsh and cold for men's skin. The skin feels dry and raw. All Recipe for Men products are tested on the skin under these skin-hostile weather conditions. The result is a unique skin care line with exceptional soothing, moisturizing and protective properties.

The Recipe for Men range

Recipe for Men has developed special products for every type of man and skin type. A comfortable shave always starts with cleansing the skin. The cleansing gel cleanses the skin but leaves the skin alone. Recipe for Men also has a cleansing product for sensitive skin. This cleans, refreshes and is pH neutral. You can use the scrub gel to clean the skin extra thoroughly and to prevent ingrown beard hairs. For shaving, Recipe for Men has a ready-to-use shaving foam in a handy can. This shaving foam is suitable for sensitive skin. Do you have a beard and do you want to be able to shave the beard contours closely? Then use the transparent mint-fresh shaving gel. After shaving the beard, you can further care for the beard with a neutral odorless beard oil and beard balm.

After shaving, the skin can be cared for and treated with a moisturizer. Recipe for Men has developed various moisturizing creams. There is a moisturizer for oily skin. Do you have dry skin? Then use the regular or Ultra moisturizer. Do you have pale skin in winter and still want a tan? Then you will benefit greatly from the moisturizer with a light bronzing effect. This ensures an even light brown and healthy complexion. You can use the moisturizer with SPF in the summer to protect your skin against the sun. The skin around the eyes is thin and sensitive. With the special and effective under-the-eye gel and eye bags pads you can take very good care of the skin around the eyes. Skin imperfections, pigment spots and dark circles around the eyes can be easily treated and camouflaged with the concealer treatment pens.

Important components of the Recipe for Men products

Allantoin: anti-irritant, soothing, helps prevent redness and razor burn and has a skin-healing effect.
Shea butter: moisturizing, softening and soothing effect.
Aloe vera: soothes, hydrates and helps fight free radicals.
Olive extract: softens, hydrates and soothes irritated skin.
Black tea: protects the skin and fights free radicals.
Hyaluronic acid: anti-inflammatory, reduces redness and itching after shaving.
Calendula: soothing effect, helps prevent redness and razor burn.
Centella asiatica: This herb, found only in Madagascar, increases collagen synthesis and strengthens capillaries and veins by repairing the damaged connective tissue around them, reduces dark circles under the eyes, strengthens and heals.
Algae extract: softens and moisturizes.
Sebustop: a specially developed ingredient cocktail for men's skin (extracts of cinnamon, ginger and burnet) reduces the oiliness of the skin by removing excess surface oil and has an astringent effect.
Retinol (vitamin A) is the most proven ingredient against skin aging and wrinkle formation.
The Peptide Complex has been specially developed for men's skin. It prevents wrinkle formation.
Mix of polysaccharides forms a protective layer to exclude external factors.
Glucose and xylitol is a moisturizing mix: it keeps the skin supple and young.
Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) has a moisturizing and caring effect. It is an antioxidant and protects the skin against free radicals.
AHA acids have an exfoliating effect.
