Bog or peat oak is made from wood that has been in peat soils for more than 3000 years. The wood surface is treated with sterling silver. This gives the fine grain structure on the surface a silvery shine. Finally, the handle is further treated with a high-gloss layer. This makes the handle water-resistant.
