Preparation

Good preparation is half the battle. Clean the skin in advance with, for example, a cleaning gel. Always use lukewarm warm water and possibly a pre -shave cream or oil. Of course you apply shaving foam to protect the skin and to soft the beard hair. Bearded hairs are as hard as copper wire. The combination of water and shaving foam ensures that the hairs become softer. This ensures extra shaving comfort and ultimately a smooth shaving result. 

Shawl

Hold the razor light and smoothly between thumb and forefinger at the top of the handle. Hold the razor at an angle of 30 degrees in relation to the skin and let the razor do its work. So don't put pressure on the skin. Shave with quiet movements. Shave with the beard hair as much as possible. If it is not yet smooth enough, then if necessary, shave against the beard growth direction. If you are going to shave against the direction of hair growth, you must hold the razor with 2 or 3 fingers as much as possible at the bottom of the handle. This prevents you from exerting too much pressure. 

Asset

The order of shaving is of course personal. But most of the time you start with the sideburns. If you are right -handed, you start right. The left -handed people among us start left. Then shave the cheeks from top to bottom. Then shave the jaw line and neck region, also from top to bottom. The hardest beard hairs are under the nose and around the chin. Maintenance and safety

After use, rinse the razor well. Carefully remove the Double Edge razor blade and clean it under running water. If necessary, dry the knife and put it back in the shaving head. Make sure that the blade can wash out or hang it in the corresponding razor holder. Do not beat the razor dry on a hard surface because then the chrome layer can damage.
