Started as a barber in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1866 after the American Civil War. Later I started selling shaving products myself as a successful traveling salesman. Ik heb kennelijk een teer huidje maar wel een volle baardgroei. Tot voor kort was scheren altijd een drama. Mijn gezicht stond na het scheren - figuurlijk gesproken - in de fik. Op aanraden ben ik overgestapt op het ouderwetse safety razor en op Manandshaving heb ik uit de vele scheerproducten deze crème gekozen. Je moet ergens beginnen zeg maar ... maar ik ben blij! De crème ruikt subtiel en zorgt voor een heerlijk schuim. Van dit merk koos ik ook de pre-shave olie en als geheel bevalt het mij geweldig.

Kolonel Ichabod Conk is een opmerkelijk figuur en evenzo zijn palet van scheerartikelen. Bij het opendoen van het doosje ruik je meteen een bos van cederhout met subtiele tonen van rozemarijn. Het schuim is weelderig, bijna slagroomachtig, compact en scheert heel fijn. Heel mooi product, waarvan ik mij heb voorgenomen in de loop der tijd de andere geuren ook eens te proberen.
