The perfumery of Castle Forbes can be found in the Forbes Castle in Aberdenshire, Scotland. The gigantic estate is in possession of the Chief of the Forbes Clan. The Forbes earn their money by organizing weddings, salmon and flight visits and the sale of luxury shaving products and perfumes. Started long ago with small -scale production for private customers and friends. In the meantime, their shaving products and men's perfumes are being sold worldwide. The mission of Castle Forbes is to create a small selection of unique men's scents and to offer top quality artisan shaving products. Castle Forbes uses pure essential oils and vegetable ingredients. The products do not contain parabens, dyes, artificial scents and are not tested on animals.

Castle Forbes has a large group of loyal fans worldwide. And that is not for nothing. The shaving assortment consists of 4 basic odor lines: shaving cream and aftershave balm. It starts with a neutral water -based preshave. This provides extra protection and 'glide' during shaving. You can combine this preshave well with the other shaving products. The 4 shaving creams have a sturdy and greasy composition. A little bit is more than enough for a luxurious, rich, creamy and caring shaving foam.

The aftershave balms have an exceptionally calming effect. The BALM protects and hydrates without leaving a sticky and greasy layer. These care products also contain natural ingredients, such as witch hazel and pure vegetable oils.

This scent line is very special and popular. It is best to describe the scent as an 'oak forest in the fall'. The light smoky woody and earthy scent is pure, authentic and male.

This modest perfume named after the official historical title of our clan chief: Lord Forbes van Forbes. It is a subtle and soft scent of exotic wood, chords of warm green herbs and amber. It is a robust warm and seductive scent of a touch of cigar smoke and the warm, woody, leathery scent of the interior of a vintage car. This perfume fits perfectly with the cedar wood & sandalwood shaving line.

1445 is the year that the title was granted to the first Lord Forbes. It is a typical British aristocratic fouger scent that lingers all day. The perfume has fresh green and 'clean' tones of ferns and grasses combined with lavender, tarragon, lemon, bitter orange and vetiver.
