The shaving performance and finish of the Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 stainless steel safety razors has been achieved using revolutionary product design and advanced precision manufacturing techniques. 3ONE6 is the name of the type of stainless steel 316 quality. Originally forged in Sheffield, with superior corrosion resistance.

The 3ONE6 is easy to use. The quality of the shave remains consistent from various shaving angles. The shape, balance and weight ensure that the razor fits comfortably in the hand.

The shaving head
 The raised rails on the base plate create the perfect position for the razor blade. This has been implementation tested. This allows the razor to shave effectively from various angles. The knife feel of the 3ONE6 is virtually nil. It provides a comfortable and premium shaving experience.

The locating pins between the top and bottom plates minimize any possible movement of the razor blade. The subtly ribbed skin protectors on the outer edges of the base plate gently stretch facial skin for a smoother shaving surface. Excess shaving foam and shaved beard hairs are effectively guided away through four filling slits to prevent the razor from clogging during shaving.

The two-piece shaving head is the first double edge shaving head to be produced in the UK using 100% metal injection molding (MIM). MIM is a production process in which pure metal powders are combined with binders, making injection and manipulation easier to control. This carefully formulated material blend is then injected into unique Edwin Jagger tools using extreme pressure and then heat to create the small and complex precision components. MIM enables very fine manufacturing tolerances and minimizes any weakness due to the directed flow of injected material.

The thread of the shaver head and handle is extremely strong. The thread has been extensively tested for tension and will not break under normal use.

The handle

The 3ONE6's collar, end cap and knurled handle are all CNC machined from Sheffield forged 316 stainless steel. The quality and finish are absolutely perfect. The diamond ribs on the stainless steel handle give the razor extra grip.
