Since 1920, Giesen & Forsthof has been a manufacturer of professional hairdressing shears, safety shears and open razors in the German Solingen Solingen. The professionals of Giesen & Forsthof are trained within the company itself. Timor® is a registered trademark Van Giesen & Forsthoff.

In 1920, Paul Giesen and Eugen Forsthoff founded their specifications in Solingen. From the start the G + F and Timor brands have been for quality. In 1945, co-founder Forsthoff left the company. Since then, the Giesen family is only at the helm of the company and is now head of the third generation. The company's head office in Solingen has been constantly expanded and modernized. The range is also constantly adapted to the needs and requirements of customers and consumers. Timor's safety shears are known worldwide with the so-called butterfly closure or twist-to-open-shaver. Thanks to the butterfly closure you can easily and safely change the Double Edge razor blades. At the bottom of the handle is the rotary knob. Just turn this button and the shaving head open or close again. You put the mesh in the shaving head and turn it back. The blade is fired firmly.
