Usage
Moisten shaving brush with warm water, apply shaving soap or cream to the shaving brush, whip the shaving brush in the shaving bowl and let the shaving soap foam up.

Handy for traveling
It is a shaving bowl suitable for the smaller soaps such as those of Muhle and Edwin Jagger. Due to the "size" of the shaving bowl, it is in the hand and it is good soap/foam with a smaller shaving brush. The bowl is an asset to my shaving cabinet.
