The alum block from Osma has multiple effects. Because shaving soaps are basic, they can raise the pH value of the skin. Because alum lowers the acidity, it normalizes the pH value of the skin. It neutralizes the soap components in the skin pores. It also has a disinfectant and astringent effect. Astringent means that the skin pores close and normalize. In addition, it has a mild blood-stopping effect and reduces the burning sensation after shaving.
This alum block comes in a handy closable plastic box.

Use
Use after shaving. Moisten the alum block with cold water and gently rub on the skin and skin cuts. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
Alum is also suitable for preparing the skin for electric shaving. Use it before shaving in that case.
